POSTERING
Metropol has been putting up posters for the better part of a decade. We poster every day and we are the best in the city at it. If you are curious, ask around. We stand behind our reputation of Victoria's premier poster company.
There are two basic types of postering that we offer. For best results, we suggest a combination of the two. Please note that prices for postering do not include printing. We can only accept event posters that are local and dated. We reserve the right to refuse a contract if the poster is deemed inappropriate. We will only accept exclusive postering contracts.
Core Postering - $0.20 per poster
Our core postering service consists of two daily postings on the 50 legal poster cylinders in the downtown core. Poster runs go out a differing times, but always one in the morning and one in the evening. Posters added to the core poster runs are done so on a 'per day' basis. 'Light rotation' is 25 posters per day and 'heavy rotation' is 50 posters per day. Our core poster system is designed with two completey different 'sorts' which are rotated on the cylinders each time we go out. This ensures that there is as many different posters as possible visible on a corner at any given time and also so we do not ever cover a poster with itself. This makes it impossible for us to put any one poster up on every single pole each time we poster. A poster in 'light roation' will appear on every fourth pole and a poster in 'heavy rotation' will appear on every second pole. Please be aware that we are not the only users of the cylinders so if your poster is not visible, it may have been covered.
Posters for core postering can be printed in house or provided by the client. Supplied posters must be 11"x17" in size and must be in portrait orientation.
For an average core poster campaign, we recommend a 2 week campaign of 12 days in 'light rotation' and 2 days in 'heavy rotation'. This campaign would require 400 posters total about would cost $80 plus printing and taxes.
Instore Postering - $0.60 per poster
We distribute posters to store fronts, campuses, bulletin boards and remote cylinders all across the city. These poster go out to different areas of the city, five days a week. We will begin an instore campaign four weeks prior to an event and continue to post until the contract is filled. Please note that specific placement is not guaranteed as often the posters that go in a store or venue are done so at the discretion of the staff of that store or venue. We also do not remove postings that are current, so a campaign may take longer during peak periods.
Posters for core postering can be printed in house or provided by the client. Supplied posters must be 8.5" x 11" or 11"x17" in size. Posters exceeding this size are subject to additional charge.
For an average instore poster campaign, we recommend a campaign four weeks before the event of 100 posters. This campaign would cost $60 plus printing and taxes.
